Reviewing my top 3 vacation spots (September Blog) by Jordyn Kelly
Traveling is definitely one of my favorite things to do ever. I love exploring new countries, trying a variety of new foods, meeting new people, trying new experiences, and exploring as much as I possibly can. Traveling is something that I want to continue doing throughout my entire life with friends and family because I want to explore and hold onto life-long memories from the places I have visited. In this blog post, I am going to be reviewing my top three favorite vacation spots that I have traveled to over the past few years. My top three vacation spots include The Bahamas, Aruba, and Puerto Rico.
The second place I am going to be reviewing is Puerto Rico, which is a Caribbean island and unincorporated U.S. territory. Puerto Rico has a variety of attractions similar to The Bahamas like snorkeling and scuba diving, however, there were a lot of historical sights on the island that were extremely interesting to see. Old San Juan is one of the many towns I visited while in Puerto Rico and its streets were filled with colorful buildings, old city walls, and fortresses. The Castillo de San Cristóbal is part of the Puerto Rico historic site and it was fascinating being able to walk through the fortress and learning about the largest fortification built by the Spanish in the New World. Something I will never forget was how welcoming the people were in San Juan and how involved everyone was in the communities. Everyone would be playing music together, talking to one another, welcoming the visitors, and we're always having a good time. I went to the island a few years ago, but from what I remember it was an amazing trip, and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about the Historial aspects or relax on the beaches!
The first place I am going to be reviewing is The Bahamas, which is a country located in the Caribbean. I stayed at the Atlantis Paradise Island hotel, which is an ocean-themed resort on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. This is an enormous property, which offers a variety of tourists attractions like snorkeling, scuba diving, has several pools for swimming, and has one of the largest waterparks on the resort. The only thing that I disliked about this hotel was it was almost too immense and overwhelming to walk around. One of my favorite parts of the trip was going on the Leap of Faith waterpark ride. The Leap of Faith is a sixty-foot-tall body waterslide that goes straight down and towards the end of the ride, you pass through a shark tank. This slide was an unforgettable experience and although I waited in line for about two hours, it was definitely worth the wait. Also, the flight to the Bahamas was only three hours, which was an added bonus. Overall, the trip to the Bahamas was a relaxing getaway, and would highly recommend people to go there!

The last place I am going to be reviewing is Aruba, which I recently visited this summer in July. The flight to Aruba was around five hours and we visited the town Noord, which is known for its high-rise hotels, restaurants, beaches, and the famous lighthouse. While in Aruba, I went on a catamaran boat, which traveled to multiple coves to go snorkeling and scuba diving. What I enjoyed was how in Aruba, there were additional attractions like jetskiing, jeep tours, tubing, and boating. Going jetskiing with the ability to go anywhere along the beach's coastlines was an enjoyable and liberating feeling. While in Noord, I also went on a jeep tour, which brought us to the best-known places in Aruba, including the Natural Pool, the Alto Vista Chapel, the California Lighthouse, and one of the top-ranked most beautiful beaches, Eagle Beach. To go to the Natural Pool, you needed to take a long and treacherous jeep journey through rocky terrain. The Natural Pool is a crystal clear "pool" nestled in between the rocks surrounded by the ocean. The journey to the natural pool was terrifying, but at the same time fascinating. I had never experienced anything like it before. After visiting Aruba, it has to be my number one favorite vacation spot I have visited.
All of these places look amazing! I can't wait to travel somewhere warm and tropical!
