Rating the Concerts I Went to This Summer by Abbey Pierson
Over the summer of 2021, I attended three concerts. These concerts took place at PNC and Bethel Woods, in upstate New York. The concerts I attended were Zac Brown Band, Old Dominion, and then Zac Brown Band again!
These are my thoughts, feelings, and ratings about these concerts :)
1.) August 5, 2021: 1st concert of the summer- Zac Brown Band.
There are a total of 7 members in this band.
- The main singer of this band is Zac Brown and he occasionally plays guitar
- Jimmy Martini, who plays the fiddle
-Clay Cook, who plays the guitar
- Coy Bowles, who plays the guitar
- John Driskell Hopkins, who plays the bass guitar
- Daniel de Los Reyes, who is on percussion
- Matt Mangano, who plays the bass guitar
- Chris Fryar, who is on the drums
I give this concert: 9.5/10.
I have seen Zac Brown numerous times before in
the past before COVID-19, but he truly never disappoints. He played all of his famous and popular songs, along with some of his new songs. Zac Brown played many covers, but all of them were amazing. This concert was at PNC, I went with my brother, Chris and we were extremely close to the stage. In conclusion, I cannot say enough about how outstanding Zac is. I highly recommend EVERYONE to see him in concert, it is truly something to see!
2.) August 6, 2021: 2nd concert of the summer: Zac Brown Band
Rating: 6/10
I saw Zac Brown Band two nights in a row at Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center in upstate New York. This night, we had lawn seats so we were not as close. But, my family went with our close family friends. I rate this concert 6/10 because I felt he sang too many covers. I love his covers, but he played too many. I was there to see Zac Brown, not to hear him sing covers. It was to the point that he didn´t play one of his best and most popular songs. But, Zac Brown Band is truly fantastic. They played a lot of covers, but he was still absolutely amazing.
3.) August 28, 2021: 3rd concert of the summer: Old Dominion
There are a total of five members in the band.
- Matthew Ramsey, who is the main singer of the band
- Brad Tursi, who plays guitar
- Trevor Rosen, who plays guitar
- Geoff Sprung, who plays bass guitar
- Whit Sellers, who are on the drums
Rating for this concert: 10/10.
This concert was absolutely outstanding. I have never been the biggest fan of Old Dominion, but after seeing this concert I might as well be labeled as their #1 fan. I cannot say enough about how good this concert was. I went with my two friends to Bethel Woods, in upstate New York and we had lawn seats. There were not as many people there as there were Zac Brown, but I loved it. Matthew Ramsey was really bringing the show to life and all the members just looked really happy and excited to be there. I knew every song they played and I was dancing and singing the whole time. I would absolutely see them again in a heartbeat. I was astonished by how outstanding they were. I highly recommend it!
Thank you so much for reading my review! :)
